WebMar 7, 2024 · My first A1c was 6.5, in Nov it was 6.0. I just had another A1c but I haven't got the results yet. I presented with tingling in my arms and legs, not my hands or feet. My primary physician thought that was a little odd and sent me to an endocrinologist who didn't think it sounded like diabetic neuropathy so he sent me to a neurologist. WebMy A1C has held steady between 5.6-5.8 the last 10 years, but has jumped to 6.3 over the last year. I’m very worried that I’m going to be making the jump to full blown T2D soon. Not sure of what changed in the last year to make it increase that much. I did have my second child 3 years ago and had gestational diabetes on insulin.
